"Dear Edwina Jr" from Unicorn Theatre

Apr 26 - May 5

Unicorn Theatre presents the youth musical production of Dear Edwina Jr., where 13-year-old Edwina dishes out advice to neighbours and people around the world, helping them solve their problems through songs and stories. This production is light and fun, suitable for all ages. “Move over Dear Abby. There’s a new advice-giver in town, and her name is Edwina Spoonapple! Thirteen-year-old Edwina is the creator and director of “The Dear Edwina Show”, where she (with the help of her friends) offers songs and stories giving advice to her neighbours, as well as people around the world, who have sent letters to her about their problems. “Dear Edwina” is an unusual musical. It’s a “show within a show” where Edwina’s own life provides the framework for “The Dear Edwina Show”, in which Edwina and her fellow performers share wisdom on everything from trying new foods to making new friends, through clever, catchy, and poignant songs. Edwina and her friends present “The Dear Edwina Show” every Sunday afternoon – live from the Spoonapples’ garage in Paw Paw, Michigan. On this particular Sunday, Edwina is rather nervous because the talent scout from the “Kalamazoo Advice-a-Paloosa Festival” is coming to see the show. It is Edwina’s dearest wish to be invited to be recognized for excellence as an advice-giver at the “Advice-a-Paloosa Festival”. The cast is on stage, the music is starting, the lights come up, …Welcome to “THE DEAR EDWINA SHOW”!” Unicorn Theatre’s talented and enthusiastic young actor/singers will be bringing you the show on the following dates: Friday, April 26 – 7:30 pm Saturday, April 27 – 3:00 pm Sunday, April 28 – 3:00 pm Friday, May 3 – 7:30 pm Saturday, May 4 – 3:00 pm Sunday, May 5– 3:00 pm Tickets: $10 for adults, students, children, and seniors The Box Office for “Dear Edwina, Jr.” is now open Details
