Details

Bedford Players Community Theatre is pleased to present 37 Postcards, a comedy by Michael McKeever and directed by Elaine Melanson.

After years of traveling abroad, young Avery Sutton is happy to return to the comforts of his family home in Connecticut. Unfortunately, almost nothing is as he remembered it. The entire house is tilted at a distinct angle, the dog has not been fed in five years, and Avery’s grandmother, who everyone thought was dead, is still alive and kicking. Forced to either accept the oddities of his family or leave them behind, 37 Postcards suggests that you can, in fact, go home again… You just never know what you’re going to find!

November 7th to 23rd, 11 performances in all.
Thursday to Saturday at 8pm and Sundays at 2pm.
Our theater is located at 1408 Bedford Highway in the All Saints Church hall.
We are a fully volunteer run organization with our 100 volunteers working on each production. Our directors, actors, technical crew, executive board members all are volunteers putting in hundreds of hours on each production.

For over 40 years Bedford Players has been a part of the local community and we have supported many non profit organizations with our “Charity of Choice” initiative. For this production we will be partnering with the Cobequid Health Centre Foundation in Lower Sackville. One dollar from every ticket sold will go to the organization and representatives from the Cobequid Health Centre will be available at the theatre before each show to talk about the incredible work that is being done at the CHCF.
