Some days, social media shows us how terrible the world can be…and then on days like today, you hit one feel-good story after another….

Today, the Internet ‘giveth’.

Like the sad and yet faith-restoring story of Mark Ross.

Three o’clock in the morning, Michigan resident Mark Ross was told his 15 year old sister had died in an automotive accident.  On the trip home to be with this family, Ross and his friend were reportedly speeding. When they were pulled over, the officer determined that Mark had an outstanding warrant and his friend a suspended license.

Once Mark told the officer WHY they were speeding out of town, the officer apparently prayed with them and THEN offered to drive them 100 miles to be with his family.

THEN….it’s a simple thing…but TOTAL SWEETNESS!

Amy Pennington tweeted a pic of her grandparents. Grandma had wrist surgery…in the photo, Grandpa is STYLING his wife’s hair.   The pic of the pair is getting so much love from the internet that Amy later tweeted “My grandma would be so upset that she’s Twitter famous off a picture of herself in her robe with no makeup.”

NICOLE POPPIC: PARENTING LIKE A BOSS!!!

Poppic’s daughter was rather snotty about getting out of bed and ready for school.

So, Poppic had fun with the tardy note she wrote for her daughter.

Note: she did throw the daughter’s mobile phone out of the car window but later retrieved it from the neighbour’s lawn and gave it back to her daughter just a few days later.

As for the reasoning for her parenting approach….Nicole Poppic wrote in her blog that..” (daughter)“She was just having a bad morning. Still, I feel it is important for all of my children to realize that no matter what kind of mood a person is in, they are still responsible for their own actions and they are expected to be aware of how those actions affect other people.”
