Generally speaking, hippos are terrifying creatures, but shrink it down to baby size, and you’ll want to take one home!

It’s been more than 75 years since the Cincinnati Zoo welcomed a Nile hippo calf. You can imagine the zoo’s excitement when they found out 17 year old Bibi The Hippo was pregnant! Baby Fiona was born prematurely at 6 weeks before her predicted first appearance, but with full vet attention, she’s been thriving (growing to a healthy 130 lbs.!!).
