Coldplay’s “Music of the Spheres” world tour has set new records, becoming the highest-grossing and highest-selling rock tour ever.

Since its start in 2022, the tour has earned $945.7 million and sold 8.8 million tickets, surpassing the previous record held by Elton John’s “Farewell Yellow Brick Road Tour,” which grossed $939.1 million.

Coldplay’s “A Head Full of Dreams” tour also ranks in the top 10 at #7 with $523.3 million. The top 10 list includes other legendary rock acts like U2, Guns N’ Roses, The Rolling Stones, Roger Waters, AC/DC, and Red Hot Chili Peppers.

The “Music of the Spheres” tour will conclude with shows in Australia and New Zealand, ending in Auckland on November 16. Meanwhile, Coldplay is preparing to release their 10th studio album, “Moon Music,” on October 4.
