WET NOSE WEDNESDAY brought to you by Global Pet Foods

Calling all Calico lovers! If you are seeking an outwardly affectionate feline who will want to snuggle 18 out of 24 hours… then Raisin is the right cat for you! Eight-years-young Raisin takes a few moments to befriend new faces, but once she knows you she will be in your lap ALL the time. Raisin will tolerate a very calm and respectful small canine who will give her space but would much rather be on her own as the only pet. Raisin has had a long road with the SPCA. She came into care as a stray back in July 2022. She has had a struggle with overgrooming which is believed to be caused by allergies (food or environmental). To help ease this she requires a special Z/D diet and daily medication to help limit her over-grooming. Raisin was found to be positive for FIV. This in no way currently affects her. FIV+ kitties though, need to be the only cat in the home to ensure no further spread of this disease to others. With Raisin’s positive FIV results her adoption fee has been reduced. Raisin is actually living it up at the SPCA Provincial Office so you can e-mail dartmouth@spcans.ca to set up a time to meet this sweet lady.
