That face and oh those eyes, make our hearts melt! This handsome and high-energy, 4-year-old Pitbull is Buddy. This guy loves going for walks and walks REALLY well on a leash. Buddy LOVES playing with all the doggy toys here at the shelter, throwing them into the air in delight and of course shredding anything with stuffing and a squeaker haha.

Due to Buddy’s enthusiasm for life, strength and still needing to develop more training skills he is looking for a home where any children are at least 16 years old and up. Buddy is very much a people person and is not comfortable or interested in having doggy friends, so he is also looking for a home where he is the only pet and can soak in all the attention just for himself.

When Buddy arrived into the Nova Scotia SPCA care he was very thin and has already put on 6.5 lbs in a couple of weeks. While Buddy still needs to gain some more weight and polish his training skills, we know this diamond in the ruff will make an awesome companion for the right home.

Buddy is available for adoption at the HRM Animal Redemption Centre located at 201 Brownlow Ave, Suite 9 in Burnside. All meet and greets and adoptions are done by appointment only at this location. However last-minute appointments are often available! Call us at 902-536-2032.
