The least we can do on November 11th is to take a moment to remember those who put their lives on the line so that we could live the way we do today.

Here are a few events for you to take part in to say “thanks” to all those who served.

Remembrance Day Parade and Ceremony, Parade Square
When: November 11, 2016, 11:00am
Where: War Memorial, Grand Parade, Argyle St., Halifax
Annual Remembrance Day parade and ceremony under the direction of the Royal Canadian Legion Zone 14

21 Gun Salute at the Halifax Citadel National Historic Site
When: November 11, 2016 – 11:00am
Where: Halifax Citadel National Historic Site, Halifax
Starting at 11 am, the 1st Field Artillery Regiment will fire a 21-gun salute followed by the noon gun. The Army Museum will be open to visitors from 10 am until 2 pm, admission is free

Remembrance Day Parade at Sulllivan’s Pond
When: November 11, 2016 – 10:30am
Where: Sullivan’s Pond, Dartmouth

Remembrance Day Ceremony at Point Pleasant Park
When: November 11, 2016 – 11:00 a.m.
Where: Sailor’s Memorial, Point Pleasant Park, Halifax, Nova Scotia
